At a crossroads and need some advice

Its £1200. It’s a lot. I’m skeptical as well, but they say that they have a workshop in the building and do repair work if needed, which perhaps prolongs the life of the piece. He was adamant that mine was chemically treated, and alluded to the fact there was something missing from the hairs...

At a crossroads and need some advice

I should mention that my current stylist has always replaced the defective systems.

At a crossroads and need some advice

Hi all I’m currently weighing up my options re:stylists and suppliers. I have been happily using a stylist for a few years who has until recently been amazing. However, he has recently been supplying me with poorly constructed systems. They have rarely lasted two months and often have defects...

Having a bit of a bonding issue. Help required.

Hi all Could use some advice. I’m wearing a lace unit, and use Ghost Bond glue. Until recently it’s held fine, but for a while I’ve been really struggling to get a strong hold. It’s weird, because if anything, I’ve been exercising and sweating a lot less than normal, so seems strange that this...

My new system! I’m super happy with it.

My stylist has just been getting better and better with every visit. Goes to show you can get amazing results if you’re open about what you want. It’s taken over two years to get to this point, but I feel like I’ve got this thing down now!

First I got a replacement system. Then I found this forum.

I think it looks good, especially for a first system. Yes, the hairline is SLIGHTLY straight/dense, but I can tell you now that the only person who clocks it is you. Perhaps you can get the salon to thin it a bit. What's your base material? You certainly don't look like you're wearing a helmet...

Colour Matching Question - who dyes their unit to match better?

Hi all I'm looking at getting a new system, but I'm having a dilemna over the colour. In the past, I've used #3 (brown) but my stylist has given me #2 recently, which initially is too dark, but as he correctly pointed out, does mean that the piece lasts longer because it fades to a perfect...

How do you remove glue from your head?

I try for once a week. If I'm busy and leave it for two, then I know it's going to take much longer and be much messier.

How do you remove glue from your head?

If the products are making a gooey mess, try removing more regularly.

Muscles of the scalp in relation to hair systems

Weirdly enough, I'm sitting in my room waiting for the glue on my head to dry, and I've made the decision to raise my hairline fractionally, so that the unit doesn't sit on the area where my 'frown' muscles are. I accidentally did this last time, and I had none of the usual issues of hairline...

Ghostbond Platinum Question - Does it behave like Ghostbond XL in terms of...

I mean the time it takes to dry before attaching the system. Cure time is normal I think. 24 hours before hot water/sweat advisable on all glues. After that I play sport and get it wet with no issues

Ghostbond Platinum Question - Does it behave like Ghostbond XL in terms of...

It’s a lace base. Takes a while to dry, but once it’s on, it’s on!

I’ve never tried, but it’s water based like the others so I imagine it would.

Ghostbond Platinum Question - Does it behave like Ghostbond XL in terms of...

I'm using this now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B081ZCFHKB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For my body chemistry at least, it's superior to all the Ghostbond products. Takes a little longer to dry, but the clean up is so much easier! It's like peeling PVA (I think in...
