propecia cannot be having a negative effect. its possible that you are in the middle of a shed. but lowering your DHT wont be increasing the speed of your hair loss, it will only decrease the speed of it. keep waiting it out

My suggestion to battle the side effects is to stay off the forums where all people do is complain about side effects,because if its in your head you will get them.

finasteride works on the hairline, but topical anti androgens would be a good supplement too

The difference between 1mg and 5mg is not very big at all. You can try adding a topical anti androgen or possibly switch to dutasteride

Why are there so many horror stories about Dutasteride and the hair line. I know the the scalp T is raised to over 100% as compared to 24 % on finasteride, but wouldnt the extra 20 or 30% suppression of DHT be more important since DHT is much stronger androgen than Testosterone?
