Hi guys,

I`m really worried that I`m a nonresponder to Propecia, but for the worse, it seems like it`s actually speeds up the thinning process. I have now been on Propecia for about 11 months, and in the beginning it seemed like it were helping some, but since the 10 months mark it seems like my hair just speeds up and dies. I have big time sheds, and I can see (no kidding) that the hairline has thinned out. It also seems like the rest of the hair has thinned out a bit. My hair loss was not so big before I started, but now it seems like it`s accelrating big time, and this really, really concerns me :( I`m devestated litteraly. I still do have coverage, but if this continues, the hair will be so thin within the 12 month mark that there`s no point anymore soon.

Is it any point for me to continue with the Propecia? I havent missed one day before now...now I have been really sick with the flue, so I have taken one tablet every other day the last week.

I know that during the wintertime people do shed more, and also the hairs that I`m losing is really thick and dark hair.

I`ll try to upload some pics here, but I need my other camera to do so. I would really appreciate any good advice concerning this!!! Greatly thankfull.... :( I`m considering a small hair transplant, but if the propecia doesnt work on me, I guess that I`m kinda in a bad spot concerning an hair transplant then....?

But can it really suddenly speed it up? Did not notice any thing big before 9 month mark, and now I`m considering to stop the treatment... have not suffered any other sides...

propecia cannot be having a negative effect. its possible that you are in the middle of a shed. but lowering your DHT wont be increasing the speed of your hair loss, it will only decrease the speed of it. keep waiting it out

So after the 12 month mark things started to get better for you?

After my opinion my hair has thinned out all over, even on the sides. It seems like I`m losing hair all over head, and I`m really afraid that the Propecia has something to do with it. But I cant really understand why. I did not receive any side-effects before the 10 month mark, if the things that I`m experiencing now are side-effects. Thinning hair (terrible sheds) and some acnes beneath my temples (I have never had problems with acnes before, but now it seems like there has popped up a whole bunch. Though, it has stopped now. The whole thing makes me a bit afraid. Should I keep going and hopefully gain what I have lost the last couple of months....or should I just quit. Did any of you experience any of this?

Thanks for all the comments. It makes it a bit easier to handle when people are giving advice!:) Truly gratefull!!!! and i really hope there`s some kind of cure ahead for all of us soon.
