does 44% figure refer to overall hair count? So after treatment you basically have 44% more hair all over your head, with some of that hair appearing in your balding/bald areas? Yeah, I think the jury is still out on whether or not the gains are maintainable without finasteride. I haven't even decided if I want to do minoxidil let alone finasteride. Hard to make a decision when half the people on forums will say it will make your dick fall off and half say its perfectly safe lol.

@JJL58 I thought only very serious cases of hypothyroidism led to hair loss, and in those cases it was diffuse and didn't follow a pattern?
