    Should I give up?

Im 27 and almost complete bald on top due to male pattern baldness. I shave my head to a 1# guard, should I just quit my regimen or should I roll out the big hitters and really go for it??? If so what would people use? Any advice greatfully received.

anybody around 23-24 with an upside down Y (balding figure)?

I am currently 26 and I have the hair loss that you mention, ive been slowly losing my hair since I was 20, my regimen consists of Propecia, Regaine and spironolactone, there hasn't been any noticable regrowth but it has slowed it down, unfortunately it hasn't stopped.

ok i dont think any of you have been asked this one b4

minoxidil makes me hairier for sure, eyebrows, legs chest the lot. The clincher is that I get a single recurring hair growing right in the middle of my forehead!!!!

    Is anyone still using spironolactone?

Im using spironolactone, but I don't know if it's helping or not as ive complicated my regimen!! I really do not know whats doing what, because after 2 years on the big 3 I decided to beef up my regimen, my hair loss has got a little better though.

If you're not a Propecia responder......................

In 3 months time I run out of finasteride, so I think I will start a new regimen consisting of dutasteride, Xandrox and spironolactone. So I will research it further.

If you're not a Propecia responder......................

Would it make sense to try Dutasteride??? Ive been on Propecia for 2 and a half years and im still gradually losing my hair! I know dutasteride isn't FDA approved but isn't there a good chance that it could help with regrowth or am I just having a mood swing and clutching at straws!?!?

    Generic Propecia???

No it's not, it's some stuff from Maximus Pill or something. But ive ordered the real stuff from Merck a whole years supply. If after this time there hasn't been any regrowth I will be a guinea pig and try Avodart and Xandrox, so here goes!! Ive been on Propecia, minoxidil and Nizoral for 2 years...

    Generic Propecia???

Purely because it's cost effective, a 3 month supply of Propecia usually costs around £150 where as this stuff was £80!!!! Im having serious doubts and therefore I may get back on the real deal pronto. Im sure it's not possible to have it tested is it? Due to the fact that it would cost a...

    Generics

Ive been thinking the exact same thing, I bought some generic Propecia but it came as little white pills and the packaging looks abit shoddy, it could easily be some kind of scam merchant selling the pills that are merely vitamins instead of the trusty Propecia, it has certainly put some doubt...
