Hello

Ok i am just curious does propecia or minoxidil have any effect what so ever on body hair? well the thing is i get parts of my body lazered like my chest for example. This is suppose to be permanent but ok could propecia actually prevent this from happeneing? they say after a specific amounts of laser treatments the hair willl not grow back but i wonder if propecia will ruin this? OR on the other hand to much testosterone causes excessive body and receding hairlines is this correct? iif so maybe propecia will make the laser hair removal more successful?

Propecia will more likely reduce body hair, than increae it.

People have claimed minoxidil increased eyebrow, chest and back hair..

.

I heard both of those claims. Propecia might lessen body hair, and minoxidil might increase body hair.

I definetly seen an increase of body hair, along with head hair on minoxidil. My hands and arms became kinda too hairy, but nothing too bad i guess.

What a great question - I was wondering this myself. I have hairy legs and one hairy *** :x I hope a minoxidil treatment won't make my *** any hairier (seriously!!)

minoxidil makes me hairier for sure, eyebrows, legs chest the lot. The clincher is that I get a single recurring hair growing right in the middle of my forehead!!!!

Well i noticed right below my hairline and side ofmy eyebrows im getting tiny hairs growing in and i think its because the minoxidil slides off a bit sometimes when i apply it and i sorta smear it in.....but then agian i would guess if im growing hiar their a bit...(only a very very tiny bit noticeable under close close inspection) i can regrow hair stronger on top...just a thought.

you are going for laser hair removal and i have read quite a bit about it and talked to a lot of people. there isn't such thing as permanent hair removal. only permanent hair reduction which i think is preposterous. hairs come back, in many cases up to 40-50%. the effect of the anti-hair loss drugs should be minimal, your own testosterone levels are what will control your hair loss and your body hair. but yeah. many of the places that do the hair reduction thing offer a deal that any procedure beyond the fourth lets say is free within a calendar year. it is at leat some form of guarantee but it will still cost you thousands of dollars and you will come back next year. i would just wax it if you don't mind the pain. that's what i do sometimes. :freaked2:
