Would it make sense to try Dutasteride??? Ive been on Propecia for 2 and a half years and im still gradually losing my hair! I know dutasteride isn't FDA approved but isn't there a good chance that it could help with regrowth or am I just having a mood swing and clutching at straws!?!?

I sure do, and you can see the gradual 'horshoe' starting to really kick in!

The only reason I asked is because when I looked at your regime you are throwing everything except the kitchen sink at you hair loss.

It's a shame that it does not seem to work. Maybe you are one of the unlucky non responders to these treatments.

I have been on dutasteride for 8 months now. I was on finasteride for 6 months before. I switched to dutasteride because all finasteride did was make me shed nonstop. I know shedding is a good thing but not when it keeps on going for 6 months on and off. It was like one day on one day off and at the end of 6 months my hair looked a lot worse.

I can't help you with Xandrox or spironolactone but I say give the dutasteride ago it's working for me :)

In 3 months time I run out of finasteride, so I think I will start a new regimen consisting of dutasteride, Xandrox and spironolactone. So I will research it further.
