0 regrowth on scalp - oral Minoxidile, dutasteride, Spironolactone

I',m very sorry to hear. I'd recommend you speak with a dermatologist that specialises in hair loss and investigate whether you might have Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. It affects eyebrows and acts like male pattern but often appears in women. There are also support forums online (Facebook...

My difficult situation (New Member/First Thread Post)

A lot of people report success with AIP diet on the LPP forum - I'm trying to avoid hot chili. I can't really tell how much it helps. There is sometimes overlap with LPP and FD. Not suggesting you necessarily have this though. Dr Donovan discusses it here...

What foods should I avoid eating in order to keep my scalp free from inflammation?

LPP can be diffuse as well. Not saying you necessarily have LPP..but I was diagnosed and didn't think I could have it.. But I did have typical symptoms. I'd highly recommend finding a specialist hair derm as your situation seems to be unusually - general derms are normally clueless about...

What foods should I avoid eating in order to keep my scalp free from inflammation?

You might want to check that you don't have an autoimmune alopecia e.g. LPP. These typically cause itching/burning sensations. A hair specialist derm might help diagnose.

This isn't looking good.(possible scarring alopecia)

As someone who has LPP - I'd recommend finding a specialist hair derm - one knowedleable about alopecia not just MBP. You will need to get diagnosed to get access to the right treatements. Lots of general derms are clueless about scarring/unusual aopecias and lots of people get misdiagnosed -...

First hair system... how does it look?

I think both sets of photos look good. Yes the first is more dense but plenty of guys have bio hair like that - it depends which look you prefer.

Finasteride destoryed me life. Please help. (long post)

Yes this is a theory of mine - as I thought I had hyperandrogenicity at first - when in fact I was having an LPP flare caused by starting the finasteride.

Help! finasteride is making my hair worst!!

Do you have itching/burning/strange sensations in scalp? You might want to consider if you have LPP and finasteride is causing a flare. This happened to me when I started finasteride - and didn't realise I had LPP but it caused a major flare for me with more itching/burning/shedding.

Finasteride destoryed me life. Please help. (long post)

If no itchiness it might not be LPP. But just because it's rare doesn't mean you don't have it. That is what I thought initially - and I have it! Most specialists think it is hugely underdiagnosed in men (perhaps because it is not very well known) - and many men end up not catching it in...

Finasteride destoryed me life. Please help. (long post)

C Do you have any strange scalp sensations like crawling/burning/zaps etc? It could be that you have another condition like LPP - which is causing a flare? This happened to me when I started finasteride - it made me worse and didn't realise I had LPP at the time.

Frustrated & cannot find a solution

Do you have any photos of your midscalp and front?

Here's a picture and my Punch BIOPSY Results... Now what??

I agree be careful with dermarolling if you have LPP. It could potentially aggrevate the condition and potentially cause more inflmmation. I've not seen any recommendations for dermarolling in any of Dr. Donovan's recommendations for LPP (I've read his recommendations extensively). Who...

Here's a picture and my Punch BIOPSY Results... Now what??

Also do you have typical LPP symptoms e.g. itching or burning, tenderness/soreness? Sometimes these come and go - and some people can be symptomless but the majority with LPP do have some symptoms some of the time.

First I got a replacement system. Then I found this forum.

I actually think it looks good - maybe a bit dense - but still good, which is one of the key factors in getting a system imo (rather than looking like you're balding but not yet bald).
