I like Rogaine foam, but can't get it here in Asia. So I bought a 5% minoxidil foam called "FOLUX". I know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone's ever heard of this brand and have a review for it.

How important is it to massage it into your scalp when you apply it. As long as you've got it on your scalp, does it matter whether you rub it in more or not?

I appreciate your reply. I might try doing what you do-mixing the two shampoos together. When people use nizoral, they often do it 3 or 4 times a week. Does the same rule apply when treating thinning hair, or do you do use it everyday?

I've heard some people say that rubbing castor oil on your scalp then leaving it on overnight can stimulate hairgrowth, or is this just a very cruel practical joke that gives one an oily head? :)

I was told by a pharmacist that zinc supplements helps men with hairloss. I also noticed that some companies now sell a zinc shampoo. Has anyone used zinc mineral supplements or shampoo with any success?

There's some pain and tightness on the back of the head after the surgery that can be controlled with medication. The surgery wasn't painful but maybe a tad scary, as you can feel them cutting, and tugging that strip from the back of your head.

I've had 2 transplants, and it all depends on the extent of your balding and how much you want done. The doctor I went to, charges per graft. In Canada around $4,000 would be about right; that would be quite a few grafts though. Some people just need a little done in the front or back, so...
