Study: Licorice, peppermint DECREASE sebum secretion

I was thinking spearmint is about the same thing as peppermint. Peppermint is just a hybrid mint plant of both spearmint and watermint. Although peppermint is probably stronger than spearmint. I thought I would use spearmint because of the study, which used spearmint. I do leave the...

Study: Licorice, peppermint DECREASE sebum secretion

I too was interested in the spearmint tea. I started drinking it a few weeks ago. 2 cups a day every day. Strangely I have had increased libido. Why would this be? Maybe it's not the tea? One unfortunate side effect has been a tingling A-hole. I kid you not. Although it's not as bad as it was a...

Saw Palmetto: 32% decline in DHT levels, study

Interesting, in doing my own research on different cultures with the best hair, I decided that getting your omegas in seemed the most important. That's when I decided that the best thing to eat for a vegan to get balanced omegas would be to eat pumpkin seeds.

Hmmm...notice anything weird about all these fatties

Exactly, Asians have the male pattern baldness gene, it's only when they are moved into a different environment that it is triggered. You see it time and time again. You see it in the comparison of rural and urban Japan. This is only observational of course, but quite stunning evidence that environment or diet...

Hmmm...notice anything weird about all these fatties

I was fat and balding 4 years ago, now I'm thin and balding. I was fat and balding at 15 years old, thank god it's slow and not falling out in clumps. I've never had a full head of hair. Can you imagine getting your driver's license and having to worry about your receding hairline in the pic?

Hmmm...notice anything weird about all these fatties

Yeah, well it looks like the western diet is doing wonders for their waistline, huh? Again, all these fat-guys-with-hair-pics proves is they don't have the male pattern baldness genes. So the western diet can't trigger anything, there's nothing to trigger. These people were probably picked because of their hair...

Re: Great info for the "diet is responsible" peopl I'm trying to comprehend all of this without my head exploding. How are you explaining that diet plays a role, can you put it in more simple terms for retarded people like me?

My theory for Male Pattern Baldness, care to poke some holes

I just realized that the part about prostate cancer and it being linked to high IGF-1 levels is not posted online. You will have to buy the book, darn.

My theory for Male Pattern Baldness, care to poke some holes

Ok, but doesn't the risk of prostate cancer increase as well? Does someone who has been castrated develop prostate cancer? No, in fact castration is a treatment for prostate cancer. It's been shown that through diet, eating broccoli and cauliflower that you can dramatically drop your risk of...
