    hair transplant WITHOUT Finasteride?

Thanks Petchsky. I've used finasteride for over a year now and it did wonders for me. I've noticed no side effects either. So I wanted to know if it would have any effect on the health of the offspring. Its good to hear that people have started families normally.

The in utero effects of Finasteride exposure during the period of embryonic and fetal development were evaluated in the rhesus monkey (gestation days 20 to 100), a species more predictive of human development than rats or rabbits. Intravenous administration of Finasteride to pregnant monkeys at...

Exercising – 4 Weeks Post Procedure – IS SWEATING AN ISSUE?

My Doctor told me that its fine to work out after a month. I didn't feel like taking that advice and I didn't work out until 3 months Post -Op. Now, I'm afraid I may have stretched the scar a bit. In my humble opinion, One month post-Op is too early to begin exercising. Why would you want to take...

    newbie (pics)

I don't use Minoxidil but Finasteride sure did wonders for me in the crown area and improved overall density. Keep using it bro. Its a personal opinion of course but I think everyone should wait for a few months after starting on Finasteride and then approach the Docs for Surgery.

    shockloss in the recipient zone

Well, its been over 6 weeks since I had a strip hair transplant and I didn't notice any shockloss as of yet. Even if I had a shockloss, it is negligible because I'm not able to notice it.

My Strip hair transplant in India

Thanks bro. This is the 17th day after the surgery and I can still see the new hairline. But clearly, the density of that day is gone. So, Do these follicles enter the 'Telogen' - Resting phase immediately after the transplant OR After the hairs fall out now ? This telogen phase supposedly...

My Strip hair transplant in India

    1. That picture didn't quite establish my condition, I guess. I'll try to post other pictures of my pre-op hair. At present, In order to appear like a person with no hairloss or only a little hairloss, I have to keep the hair short and comb it forwards. When the air blows against my hair, I...

I went for a Strip procedure. Checked your blog. Seems like a successful BHT. If I happen to require more grafts in future, I guess I might look up Dr Poswal for FUE.

    post surgery maintenance

Right, how about 'Drinks' ? I got drunk on the 10th day after the Surgery and on the 14th day after the Surgery ? The Doctor didn't give me any instructions about Alcohol Consumption. I plan to restrict my drinking to "once a week" from now on.
