What sort of products should you NEVER put on a hair system?
I saw a video on malehairexoerience where Curtis said to avoid beeswax because it unravels the knots. I take it coconut oil is out of the question too?
Also hairspray because it will dry the unit out.
Does anyone have any...
Thank you for the scalp prep recommendation as well! They're all going in my Amazon basket and I'm willing to give them a try!
For the alcohol do you use a flannel or something? Should probably invest in ones that aren't going to leave bits of cotton on my head.
I love the look too it's just a shame my real hair never let me do it in real life!
That's fate for you. But I want a top knot and I am going to have one.
I was thinking that re just taping around the perimeter. I was thinking about taping up some of the inside as well, maybe even in a cross +...

Obviously I need to be super careful not to tie it up tight and start pulling hairs out of the unit or tight on the...

How do you wash your face? Does that loosen the glue?
Thank you so much for your honest opinion!
I couldn't open the pics for some reason, but you've really helped me out.
I think I will start off with lace too. I also have black hair (well I dye it black anyway) so it was good you have the same colour as me and could give me a good opinion...
There were some on Instagram where the density is quite low and the hairline looked really good. I'm just weighing up my options at the moment. Also I think they glue the whole thing down which I just don't want to do. I'd rather use a French lace system I think where I will be able to bloody...
