    Propecia after 1 month!

So if I'm not seeing results after 6 mos on proscar (1.25 mg/day), it's nothing that is unusual or that should cause concern?

Lightheaded, dizzy, feeling faint -- proscar side effect?

I went to the doctor regarding the dizziness and now chest pains. It turns out I have a virus that is likely responsible for the dizziness. I was referred to a cardiologist, too, to check for heart problems. I'm 35 and in good health otherwise, so I'm guessing it was all this virus. If I...

Thought I was in the clear...need advice

The first month I used proscar 1.25 mg/day, I had issues with a less-than-solid erection. However, after staying on for 3+ months, that problem is long gone and everything is totally normal. I'd guess that it lasted maybe 3 to 5 weeks. Don't sweat it right now. Give it time.

Lightheaded, dizzy, feeling faint -- proscar side effect?

I've been on proscar (1.25 mg/day) for between 3 and 4 months and just recently I started experiencing bouts of dizziness, light-headedness, and I've felt extremely faint, sometimes to the point where I've had to lean over and support myself on a table or chair so I don't fall over. I've seen...

Hot flashes and sweating -- due to proscar?

Thanks. I'll defintely cut my dose in half. I already cut all my 5 mg proscar pills into quarters, but I'll pick up some razor blades and cut those quarters in half and see how things go. There's really no benefit in having hair if I'm going to be a sweaty mess all the time. I'll...

Hot flashes and sweating -- due to proscar?

I take 1.25 mg/day of proscar and have been for a month. The hot flashes really started about 2 weeks ago (which would be 2 weeks into treatment). I'd say that my sex drive before this was pretty normal for a 34 year old guy (e.g., high sex drive). I haven't noticed any change in my libido...

Hot flashes and sweating -- due to proscar?

No, I'm not going through menopause ;) . I am having hot flashes, getting night sweats, and sweating quite a bit during the day since I've started taking proscar about a month or so ago. I'm not entirely sure it is due to the proscar, but it is the only thing that has changed in my life...

On proscar -- starting workout regimen

I remember seeing someone post (on a different, non-hairloss forum) a while ago that people who work out and lift weights need to be cautious in using finasteride. Does anyone have any information on whether there is any truth to this and if so, which precautions one needs to take? I'm...
