I have been to a general doctor who supposedly ran all of the tests for hairloss and they said that everything looked normal...., are you saying that i should go again to a endocrinologist and get checked out again?
so ive started finasteride and im about a month in to it....no sides!
i also started nizoral for the first time.
im staying away from rogain foam for the time being because id like to see if finasteride can do anything on its own.
wish me luck!
im starting to think its Diffuse patterned baldness, which isnt a good thing, I actually just started school too, but wore a hat today so well see sometime how it goes when i dont
I actually decided to buzz it, damn its quite a shock when you see it for the first time! I went with a 3 on the sides, 4 on the top. The vertex is really thin and im gonna go a little longer and see if that helps at all, and hopefully in a couple months finasteride will thicken up my hair a little...
I live a really normal lifesyle, I eat fairly well, I eat out maybe twice or 3 times a week, god balanced meals, a also play basketball, lift, and run aobut 3 times a week, im not in great shape, but decent and nothing that could cause this
so i assume though that DUPA is caused by DHT too? in that case propecia will work too right?
bleach53 the biopsy actually came back and they told me it was not male pattern baldness but thats all kinda shitty but im thinking that it may have just been DUPA and they couldn't tell maybe?
yeah, i had noticeable thinning in 10th grade, it really sucks too. If its receding then id grow it longer and that should help it. If you are thinning like me then id buzz it short, sucks and i couldnt bear to do it until just this year (12th grade), but it really helps. Good luck man just...
wow your story is very similar to mine, started noticing thin hair in 8th grade, around the age of 14, got very slowly worse up to this point looks a little better than yours, although i have no receeding at all, and im 19 now
i just started propecia today and im hoping it helps
IF these antibiotics caused a buildup of DHT in your body, wouldn't that level of dht go down once you have stoped talking them and your hair would grow back?
