Nothing in almost a year. Am I screwed?!

Re: re: No, no real pictures that could show any progression. I can tell by the way it looks though. When I started, I was actually thinking I'd be ok if I could just thicken up a little bit and then maintain. My hair was thin, receded, etc. but I could live with it. Now it's progressed...

Nothing in almost a year. Am I screwed?!

Thanks FairTaxNow, I appreciate it. I didn't even know about Spectral DNC. It's been a while since I've been on the forums as I've been silently hoping my current regimen would work :) I'll give it a look along with Revita. Wish me luck! Good luck to you as well...

Nothing in almost a year. Am I screwed?!

Thanks much. I'll give it 6 months with all 3 and see what happens. I was hoping to see *some* results with the finasteride though, or at the very least not be worse off than when I started :(

20 Year old Male, new to all of this and very confused!

Where are you on the norwood scale now? Google around for images if you need to. Most people will refer you to the so-called "big 3": Finasteride (Propedia, Finpecia, etc.), Minoxidil (Rogaine... called something else in the UK I think) and Nizoral (or more specifically the ketoconazole...

    bumps on scalp

Maybe you just never noticed them before? I never noticed a lot of things until I started fooling around with my scalp. I tend to get these pimple'esque things as well, but it's infrequent. I'm pretty sure I got them every once in a while before I started anything.

Nothing in almost a year. Am I screwed?!

Fellas, I've been on Propecia for about 10 months now, and just started 5% Rogaine Foam about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to hold off on the Rogaine for a while so that I could isolate results, or lack thereof, to Propecia as much as possible. When I started I was about a NW3, and while that...

Serious question: Should I just give up the fight?

Great comments everyone. This is going to sound cliche I know, but one thing my mother always used to say was, "Smile and the world smiles with you." Growing up I used to ignore it and her other polyanna optimism, but over the years I've come to understand that it's really quite true...

Serious question: Should I just give up the fight?

Ok, so I honestly haven't been fighting that long. I ignored the situation for quite a few years, and only in the past few months have I really started doing something about it. I've been on Propecia for a few months now, and so far no sides or anything; of course, no real results either...

Can anyone "FEEL" DHT eating their hair?

I get it too and it's really annoying. I also started getting it when I started to thin. Most of the time it's just a tingling sensation with a little itching. On very rare occasions it's actually almost painful. The Nizoral has helped, but I still occasionally have the same problem. Now...

Chadman' story - (I've been losing for 6 years, ignored it)

So, it's been a month of finasteride so I thought I'd post an update. I've had no real side-effects so far. I had a slight ache in the right teste (sorry if that's too much information) for about 2-3 days the first week, but it was a very dull ache and didn't bother me. It promptly went away. I've...

    Need regrowth. minoxidil or Proxiphen?

I haven't ordered my Proxiphen yet, but the cream now concerns me as I'm guessing it won't even come close to covering my thinning areas. I know that others have said, Dr. Proctor included, that you don't need to cover all thinning areas, but I would certainly feel better knowing I had a direct...

    Short Review of Nano shampoo

To me it feels like a dilluted honey in my hands, so as you said there isn't a lot of lathering action. That said, I don't really care. My hair doesn't exactly get dirty throughout the day anyway, and given that I've lost a lot of hair and it's fairly short I'm not worried about a lot of...

ICX: Cloning available in 2008 in England

This is starting to look really good. If that's true I'll be planning a flight to England in early '09!

    Kirkland minoxidil

The first step for you is to try and not be repulsed by it. That's going to make it that much more difficult for you to follow your regimen and be objective about its results. If I remember correctly, Regaine is just Minoxidil. Kirkland Minoxidil is just Minoxidil. Rogaine is just...

    Need regrowth. minoxidil or Proxiphen?

Thanks a lot everyone. These forums are such a great source of information. I'll go with the Proxiphen. I'll give it a shot for about 6 months to see if I respond at all. I'll update progress in my journal. I'm guessing I won't need additional CP since Proxiphen already contains it...
