Applied 50 mg again tonight and had a lot more hair shed than usual, both thin and thicker hairs. I don't know if this is good or bad. I've been maintaining for the most part on finasteride/minoxidil for years and don't want to deal with a big shed at this point. Should I stop this?

I'm 29, if I can keep a stable norwood 2 or 3 longterm I will be so thrilled, I will be looking at transplants very soon I guess. I am going to start microneedling for a few months and see what that gives then start researching transplant doctors in my area.

Keep us updated. I've been taking finasteride (+ minoxidil and 1% nizoral) for the past year, and while my hair thickened up a bit I am still loosing a ton of hair, especially recently. I started taking 1.25mg a few days ago, and I have experienced zero sides. I feel completely the same. Take it and see how your own body reacts. My concern is actually the Minoxidil I'm taking, I think its the source of my forehead becoming very bumpy...I have acne-prone skin.
