Just an update, costco 5mg finasteride is insanely cheap. My Dr wont prescribe me 5mg since it isn't FDA approved apparently... so he'll only give me a script for 1mg. IT was sent over to costco, we'll see what it comes out to.

I'm not 100% sure... I'm definitely thinning in the traditional male pattern baldness area on the left/right side and my hairline as a whole has seemed to receded back a little bit. So just finasteride itself may be the best bet? No need for a shampoo or anything? Thanks!
