Thanks for your reply. I'm already using minoxidil on my hairline to stop it receding. I think the miniaturisation is just the thinner, whispy hairs growing as a result of that. I'm more concerned with my crown. Does it look bad? Or is it normal?

Ever since I noticed my hair was thinning 4 years ago I obsessively check the hairline of pretty much every man I encounter. It's so frustrating seeing men in their 50's with more hair. I feel you :(

Can anyone comment on the finasteride=breast cancer in men articles I've been reading?

I'm not sure if I can see much of an improvement but it's definitely not gotten worse, which is a win!
