It seems like PRL might play a bigger role in hair pattern than previously thought. It's not only for cycling the hair growth seasonally but actually might be responsible for Androgenetic Alopecia pattern itself.

Have been using this over past year for my knee injury. More(darker) body hair and but definitely lost ground on scalp. I would caution anyone with any autoimmune disease to jump onto this peptide.

Don't know about follica but these guys are using 1.5 - 2.5mm depth every 2 weeks with 4 to 5 passes per region and did it for 12 months. The needling group did pretty decent but nothing compared to needling+minoxidil group.

I did try derma for 6+ months but nothing even close to this extent . Maybe that's why I didn't see any progress. In the study, they performed 8 passes over the region of the scalp. I was maybe doing 3 to 4 at most with the derma pen.

This study is on patients who have been on minoxidil for 1+ year but didn't experience the response until dermaneedling. The needling was done every 4 weeks rather than weekly.

Follow the directions in this study, they did lidocaine 1 hr prior with 1.5 roller. The results are pretty good I may say. Even though I am a non responder to microneedling, everyone should give it a try for 6 months.
