Why do I keep using it? Great question. I sometimes headcase about scalp inflammation and itching so thats why. Ive never really had any scalp issues before so I dont think I will use it again going forward unless I really have to.

I actually used estrogel on my hair line many years ago but didn't stick with it long enough to see if it worked or not. Fatal breast cancer runs in my family so I didn't want to risk it.

If you can find a topical formulation with minoxidil and finasteride that would be a solid treatment option. Tretinoin supposedly increases the efficacy of topical minoxidil but I dont have personal experience with tret, my GP refused to prescribe it and I couldn't find anywhere online to buy...

None of those things do much (if anything) for hair loss in a shampoo. You would need something like a scalp serum that stays on your head for hours, not minutes like shampoo. My favorite shampoo is without a doubt Elvive Fiberology. It's a thickening shampoo with the active ingredient Filloxane...
