Zinc pyrithione banned in cosmetics in EU

As of March 1, 2022, two common cosmetic ingredients are banned for use in the EU. They are Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Lilial) and Zinc pyrithione.

The bans will affect not only new products but also cosmetics already on shelves on the EU market that will need to be withdrawn.
