Zinc Picolinate

My Zinc was too low in my last bloodtest. I have a bottle of Zinc Picolinate 15 mg and they say, take one tablet a day?? Is that enough. Should I try Now-Food Zinc Picolinate? Is that a good brand?

The recommended daily allowance for zinc is 15 mg. I've no opinion about the brand. It should be as clean as possible. Didn't the Doctor propose a dose?

Dr. didn't seem to know actually. Enden I have seen you recommend 50mg of zinc a day and the Now-Food brand is 50mg per day? I am confused. that is much more that 15?

50 - 100 mg of zinc a day is recommended by Dr. Shippen to reverse andropause. It works as an aromatase inhibitor and shifts the testosterone/estrogen ratio in favor of testosterone. We use it to manage side effects from finasteride. 15 mg a day is recommended as a supplement. I don't know anything about doses for zinc deficiency, but I guess 15 mg a day should do.
