So I have read many threads about the effects of Zinc and B6 on helpinghair loss, a lot of people are confused about what kind of Zinc to buy and howmuch to take, also we are all confused about how much B6 to take.....so here isthe question wrapped up for everybody's benefit.

What type of Zinc is everybody taking that is working for you, zinc sulfate, zinc chelates, zinc gluconate, topical zinc, zinc oxide, second part is, is how much? As for the B6 intake howmuch is everybody taking of this and what kind, topical or oral?

The zinc, b6 combo is intended for topical use; you'd best use zinc sulphate and p-5-p; how much is difficult to tell and you'd need to figure out yourself (possibly start off the "zix" template). If taking zinc you should also take copper (i.e. copper peptides) - as it so happened male pattern baldness skin is lower in zinc and copper compared to control.

So is zinc gluconate orally a waste of time taking?
Well it might be good for some effect like increasing libido or something. But the idea was to locally inhibit 5-ar by 100%. Metal cations like zinc or copper can do this at certain concentrations (topically).
