Your hair will fall out anyway

For all the people who think various lifestyle choices will make your hair fall out: it's untrue. I smoke. I drink. I masturbate. I don't "pat dry" my hair, I'm quite rough with it when I dry it. I sleep on both sides of my head at night, depending on what I'm feeling. Sometimes I even sit a bit too close to the TV. But despite all these risky lifestyle choices, my hair continues to improve with nothing more than Propecia. You'll lose it either way though. So give up all the worrying and just enjoy life. Your hair is temporary without a cure, don't start living like you have a terminal illness.

Welcome back, Deaner.

I was a newbie when you were posting more.

But you're right-- we should all probably get out there and enjoy life more.

Umm, nope, you are totally wrong. Unhealthy lifestyles can exacerbate the rate of SOME peoples' hair loss... yes, actually make their hair fall out faster.

Wow, so because YOUR hair has improved on Propecia (while engaging in unhealthy behaviors), EVERYONE'S hair should be unaffected by living unhealthy lifestyles. Is your logic really that flawed?

Lackluster post by Deaner for a variety of reasons because:

A) most people use more than just finasteride because they are smart enough to want to try to keep their hair, and logically assume there is a fighting chance if you treat the hair loss from different angles your chances will be better.

B) Sleeping on both sides is possibly a good thing. People (such as myself) have mentioned how their hair loss started on the side they sleep on, so it's logical to assume that maybe the DHT sinks down to one side when you sleep. And if you use both sides, you are spreading out the DHT.

C) If you are rough with your hair, your follicles will move and perhaps break up the sebum and make the DHT easier to be flushed away, with products like ketoconazole.

Didn't mean to cause so much trouble. You guys are way too uptight. It was supposed to be a lighthearted jab at the crazy theories that this board provides far too much of, but I guess all of that was lost on you. Sorry, didn't mean to upset the hair police.

I think that it was just the avatar that annoyed me.

I think what sparked the raging outcry was that I was imagining the man in your avatar saying what you said in your post.... and for some reason, that annoyed that ssshit out of me.

Shampoo causes baldness! :freaked2:

1. If you're messing with your hormones with something like Propecia, then I'd imagine you'd have a little leeway when it comes to your hair.

2. I haven't seen anybody here who chronically worries about how they sleep or how close they sit to the tv.

3. If your idea of an enjoyable life is drinking, masturbating, and smoking your way to lung cancer, then by all means continue.

Better than not drinking, smoking, having sex, :jackit: eating meat/sugar/salt, excercising, using shampoo .... ect, ect because you think (wrongly) thats going to have some effect on your hairloss.

The only thing of those you mentioned that could have any effect on hairloss whatsoever, is eating a lot of sugar. It can lead to type 2 diabetes aswell, which is not nice.

I still think everyone missed the point except s.a.f. And to say that "giving myself lung cancer" and beating off are the only ways I fully enjoy my life, you're sadly mistaken. But I won't get into this anymore. I'm out.

I said that because you failed to mention any other way you enjoy way your life. :dunno:

Whatever though, this is the last thing I'm getting into an argument over.

Like I have told you before, being very thin on NW5 is not that much better than being bald. It has already started and progressed a lot, it's only a matter of time and the waiting is the hardest part.
