hi guys im new here im 26 years and balding

so ive been reading around some of the posts and i have afew questions on the treatments people have been using.

So ive herd alot about minoxidil but here in NZ it is quite expensive and from what i hear once you stop taking it your hair starts to sheed again which is a hard one due to the price and being affordable for the future

What are some other alternatives medication thats over the counter and dont cost and arm an a leg

There is none, sadly. Your best option is to look for cheaper options online. You might need to find 3-packs or something at a better per ML rate. Use it once per day, it's almost as effective as twice per day but for half the price.

Given the poor state of your hair, I would try to get on finasteride. It's not over the counter but it's your best bet, along with minoxidil of course. I'm not sure what the prices are like in NZ but in most parts of the world that has minoxidil for sale, finasteride is cheaper if you get a prescription.
