I'm going with kirkland minoxidil for one reason. I don't want to go with xandrox right off the bat if generic minoxidil will give me the same thing. In other words, I don't want to use up my big guns right off the bat if the much less expensive alternatives will work just as well. If I tired the xandrox, I would have to use them forever. If I don't get the results with generics that I am looking for, then down the road I might switch to the xandrox. If price and convenience are of no concern then xandrox might be your best bet.
And if leaving a residue in your hair is your only concern, I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't heard too many negivtive posts about this, quite the opposite. Generic minoxidil leaves your hair greasy and takes about an hour to dry. However, I simply plan this into my day and just make sure I apply the minoxidil 1st thing when I wake up. After that.. a little toppik, which blends very nicely with the greasy hair, then Thicker Fuller Hair hair spray which works great.
