Why is my minoxidil not working on my right temple? i have been using it for 4 months now

That's only because it was not tested there.

minoxidil can work on the temples, has in my case.

impatience just gets you frustrated. Four months is not sufficient time. Keep trucking along.

The right temple is usually the most bald of the two. This is common.

It is because the underlying hair growth pattern is that of a spiral, around your crown, starting from the center and, if you lean your head back, continues in a clockwise pattern, finishing on your forehead... so the right side of the head (say, 2pm) is a bit further outside the spiral than your left temple, which is at 10pm.

It will get better, my right temple lagged a few months behind the progress on the left.

In a minority of people, their hair grows in a spiral in the opposite direction.

That is why my f*****g right temple is rubbish and my left is almost perfect.

I started minoxidil a few weeks ago and have been applying to my temples. So far, my left temple looks like it's a lot thinner and I know I'm just not imagining it. Is this a good sign?
