Wtf Nizoral Has Sexual Side Effects!!!!!!

I used Nizoral shampoo 2% 2 days ago for the first time. I don't use any other drug or topical. during these 2 days my hair shedding has CONSIDERABLY decreased. After reading all the reviews on Nizoral, I was really shocked when I saw this. However, I noticed that my libido has really decreased too. Is this even possible with nizoral?? I usually have a very high libido and I cant last one day without jacking off. yesterday I didn't even feel the need to do it and, when I tried, it did take much more time.
I want to add that I had a recent wound on my head near my hair, that came in contact with nizoral when shampooing.
is this normal? please help

it definitely has that effect on me, i lose interest in sex completely and i feel like my balls shrink to nothing. Ive been trying to use it off and on for over a decade. To top it off, I never experienced a decrease in shedding and feel really out of it and cant think straight. When i stop everything goes back to normal. I never thought a shampoo could have this effect on me, so it took me a long time back then to figure this out. I do not think im anywhere close to being the norm though.

You can't get sexual sides from Nizoral, and shedding doesn't decrease after using it for two days.

this story is full of holes man, no offense. Read up a little on the hair cycle and understand it takes MONTHS for a hair to transition stages and shedding to decrease. Also, your libido? Impossible.

I was being 100% serious. Could be that the side effect goes away, as many meds say occurs after continued use. My recommendation is to see for yourself. You can always stop in a few months, im sure things will go back to normal. they did for me.

That said, there was a time where i was using nizoral almost daily for over a year. I still managed to have sex, though had very little desire, and i was spaced out. Didnt know what was up until i stopped for some reason at which point it occurred to me. What can i say, i feel much better off than on.

Again, im sure im nowhere close to being the norm as the vast majority report having no sides whatsoever.

Tell me about it, it's a shampoo. It seems completely absurd, i have no doubt how that sounds. Im 39, and seem to be sensitive to medication. Again, I think im one of the very few who has a reaction to ketokonazole.

ohh that's bad. I'm 21 and if that's the case I don't think its worthy to risk it. Also, you're not taking finasteride or any other drug/topical that could be causing these effects right?

First of all, no i dont take anything else, my sex drive and ability to get erections is perfectly normal. Secondly, I do not think this is anything close the sides people experience on finasteride, and im very confident that Nizoral doesnt have any long standing effects once you stop. Meaning there is no risk taking it, as others are saying, it's a shampoo.

Please dont let my comments scare you away from something that works for many people.

Just because it's a schampoo it does not mean that it can't cause side effects. Although it's very unlikely...
Nizoral shampoo only get absorbed to a low amount and the amount itself in the schampoo is also very low, there is studies.
However I certainly believe that it can cause adverse effects for some.
