Im 36 and have been loosing my hair since taking accutane 2 years ago. I am loosing hair all over my head sides, back, sideburns ect. My hope has been that I have cte or some drug induced temporary hairloss. Anyway I have been to endos and derms constantly. I was diagnosed with slight hypothyroidism. I have been on meds for over 1 year now and its just getting worse. I have an appointment with a hair specialist next week. Anyway I was In a accident at the gym and have a 9 inch scar that runs right down the middle of my head. I am going crazy counting hairs. I rub my hands thru my hair and lose countless strands. For my own sanity I feel like buzzing my head would stop some of this. I still have a decent looking head of hair. No hair grows in this scar. I cut my hair with a #2 clipper on the back and sides and leave it longer in front to hide the scar. Any opinions.
Would u buzz ur head with a large scar on top of head?
