Would A Cycle Of Test-e Destroy My Hair?

Hey guys,

I'm currently on finasteride, minoxidil, nizoral and my hair doesn't look that bad at the moment except for a slight recession in the corners. I have been able to maintain and even thicken my hair with the treatments.

But now I want to do a cycle of steroids. Just one. But I'm afraid it will make my hair line recede.

Do you think finasteride would be enough to protect my hair against the increase of DHT that steroids will bring?

Thanks

impossible to predict. I ran a 12 week cycle of test-e a few years ago before I got on finasteride and didn't notice any ill impacts. Keep in mind i have been receding at a snails pace for about a decade and from my genetics I am not prone to crown loss so I guess that isn't very telling. If you think about it logically, you will be stopping roughly 75% of conversion from test to DHT. Given you will be on something like 500mg I am assuming you r dht levels will still be under that of a regular man not on finasteride. So yeah, maybe for 3 months you will be at elevated levels that will impact your hair. Depending on how aggressive your hairloss is those effects could be practically imperceptible or extremely destructive.

I think I have the same type of hair loss as you: not agressive, crown is not affected, only the corners of the hair line. I think I will take a chance. Thanks!

Usually serum dht/test does not have a bearing on hair loss. It is the scalp tissue/hair follicle where the issue is. Nobody can say 100% sure...you can try a SARM too if you are really worried as opposed to Test-E.

i done a low dose test e cycle years ago and didnt notice any loss. I would imagine it depends on the person. There are steroids that you would want to stay away from like masteron

There's no reason to run steroids if you aren't a professional bodybuilder. Even then, test won't be enough to see the ''real'' results that steroids bring. Don't jump on anything and you'll be thankful in the long run. By hopping on testosterone your natural T-levels will rise and you can permanently f*** up your hormone levels for real this time. It won't be fun when you're 40 and have to be on obligatory TRT just to recover. Just my 2 cents.
