Worth It Switching From minoxidil 2% To 5%?

I have been using minoxidil 2% for two years with no results.

I'm thinking of switching to 5% foam, since way back I tried the liquid and it fucked up my scalp.

Is this a good move? Or will it be pointless if 2% already dont work for me? I'm already on finasteride.

Anyone who have ever done this switch?

I did it back in the day. It was beneficial.
Studies show 5% works with a much higher portion of people.

I've done it, but sooner. I've did it during after one month of minoxidil 2%, in the middle of the first shedding caused by the 2% (Yeah, i'm one of the few who had an heavy shedding with the low percentual).

I think the results are better or, at least, faster. Now i'm starting the third month of treatment, but i'm still shedding (it's been 1 month and a couple of weeks, but only a couple were actually heavy shedding, like more than 200 hair fallen every day), and i don't get if it's just because of the switch, or for the minoxidil not loving me :p anyone has experience on this kind of problem?

Is it worth switching from 5% to 10% minoxidil. If the 5% lost its effectiveness after 2 years? Already added finasteride
