Worse hair fall after discontinuing use of minoxidil

Hello everybody ,
I have been using minoxidil 5% from around 8 months, but discontinued the use for around 15-20 days and lately became irregular in applying , after some time my hair started falling in bunches ... my hair had become quite acceptable earlier but after discontinuing the use of minoxidil due to carelessness , they started falling really bad. So now i have started taking this solution seriously enough.I wanted to ask what will be the consequences of my irregularity in use ? Will i have to start all over again ?? Does that mean my 6-7 months hardwork flushed out ?...Will i be able to gain the hair loss during this short period of time ?? ... Just share what you have experienced.Thanks in advance.

minoxidil is a commitment, no doubt about it. it may take a few months to get back to where you were due to the rate of hair growth, etc, but after 3 months of dilligent use you will probably notice more growth.

if you want to keep your gains you've gotta stay consistent. you can miss an application or a day here and there and it wont hurt you, but you dont want to get in the habit of applying it irregularly
