Won't do propecia.... but minoxidil questions...

Hi guys... no thinning in the back, not bad anyways, but frontal thinning is starting to get a little worse. I've been on Revivogen close to a year now, and nizoral 3 times a week. Couldn't tell you if it's helped much or not, but I march on. Now considering Minoxidil. Sorry, I have no desire to even THINK of having my dong stop working, not even for awhile. I'm married, have a great sex life, I'm sure not gonna risk it for a vane reason, my hair. I would try minoxidil, but have a couple questions.

One, I've heard it only works for a few years? Effects wear off? (I do know if you stop using, it'll stop growth, but what if you use for 5 years, does it just not work anymore?)

Any side effects I should know of?

I have been using minoxidil since nov/dec 2002 and it helped extremely well . . had a lot of regrowth for first 6 months or so. When I hit the 1 year 3 month mark I noticed hair thinning again, but overall hair looks better than it did when I started. I've recently added Propecia 2 1/2 months ago and havent noticed my hair getting better. No side effects to report.
