Wondering why people blur out their faces in pics?

Yes genetics play a role in peoples size but theres no one on earth who could'nt lose a great deal of weight with a good diet and excercise. I've never seen a fat marathon runner. Whearas baldies dont have any natural options.

While that statement it technically correct, most people completely fail to understand that it's just not that simple in practice.

Sure, the *treatment* for the symptoms of obesity are as simple as just eating a bit less but the underlying reason why so many people get like that is not.

Even though I've had a gastric band which stops me eating a huge pizza to myself, I still desperately crave one when I'm down or whatever.

Well so do I.
I could easily eat chocolate bars all day long but I dont, and thats why I'm not fat. (ie its not just fat people who enjoy/crave food).
The fact is if hairloss could be conquered by will power this forum would not exist.

I completely understand what you're saying, but it's not even about will power really. I mean, I have far more will power than most people, yet I find food impossible to resist.

It's more of an addiction than simply being lazy or greedy.

Of course, I agree that treating the physical symptoms is arguably more effective than treating hair-loss, but even then it's a matter of opinion and not fact. That is, I know several people who have no problems wearing a wig, yet won't ever consider cosmetic surgery.

edit - slightly off topic, but my inability to control my food intake without having to resort to surgery is probably the thing which most frustrates me with life. I don't think someone who is not or has never been really obese can understand the relationship with food that many fat people have; it's why I get a bit annoyed when people who simply don't understand try to tell me how easy it is to cure.

Sadly, by the time we got this shot I had been sitting in the studio and *hot* conservatory for over an hour and the perspiration was dripping off me. I had almost no make-up left and my hair had become really stringy.
