Wondering If I Am Thinning At The Crown?

Honestly I never even looked before yesterday, probably because I didn't want to see anything bad. My hair has always been pretty decent, I have some recession at the temples but not much for my age (34).

As for what I saw, I have no clue. Some pictures look bad, others look great. So I'm extremely confused by that. Since I have no older pictures of the top of my head, I have no reference for comparison.

The 2nd picture here is the one that I find most concerning.

Try finasteride first. That might be all you need. Probably all you need. Don't try anything else until you give that a year. Or don't do anything n let it progress. But don't start with minoxidil, it's a pain in the *** and gives limited efficacy.

I don't like the potential side effects of Finasteride, but perhaps. Minoxidil is apparently very potent to cats so that's off the table.

I was thinking maybe The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum, and some microneedling. What do you think of that?

I think it'll do f*** all outside of placebo. I've been on finasteride for 11.5 months n no sides. Now one can say that's only one person, but in fact it's a vast majority. Plus my hair looks borderline good after being a disaster. You can check out my thread on the general page here.

I’ve a cat and never had an issue with the minoxidil.

You’ve very minimal hair loss, if you are concerned about the side effects of finasteride look into saw palmetto, it’s no where near as good or strong as finasteride from what I read but might be worth trying. I take it along with biotin and minoxidil.
