Yes i have tried it. Unfortunately for me I am hyper sensitive to Finasteride so had to stop after a month as my sides returned. If you are ok with Finateride it is the best way to take it.

Also Murkey, meant to ask: what's the consistency like? Is it similar to regaine?

Exactly the same as regaine topical even drys in a similar way. I don't like taking pills orally as they affect your whole body, topically not as much as it is targeted to the scalp and only a small amount goes in to you system.

Sorry for lots of questions. Am I right in thinking that because it's topical, you avoid some of the difficulties with finasteride tablets, like reproductive stuff, for example having to use condoms etc. As it's not in your bloodstream that wouldn't be a problem would it?

Good question. I think for the person who is taking it will avoid most of the bad stuff that comes with the pills, but with topicals like minoxidil it is easier to spread around your house by transference like on your pillows so you have to be careful wash hands after use etc. I know you shouldn't really use it around pregnant women but i have never heard of transference through sperm(unlikely I would have thought). I always apply my topicals with a latex glove so i don't get derm on my fingers as i found out when applying RU.

The only reason it says that it works only for vertex thinning is because they didn't do any testing on receding hairline, so they cannot advertise it. It might work for you or it might not. Give it a try. Some people had success on hairline.

And some hairlines were trashed by rogaine it's. a crap shoot
