Pretty weird advert, doesn't really seem to make sense, maybe that's the point :dunno:

But why have rooney buzzing his head?...only bit that made sense was rooney 'getting in the zone' hence staring in to a mirror.

f*****g hate Nike anyway, always looking for the next slave labour to make their over priced sh*t trainers.

For the last 6-7 years I always buy Adidas, but I have to confess that the best trainers I've ever had were Nike. I used to play basketball and I've gone through a few of their Nike Airs, they are good trainers...

I agree with your comments about slave labour, but you shouldn't single out Nike. Most of the consumer products we take for granted have some form of slave labour in them.

From what I read Rooney was quite self conscious about his hair so it's wierd that he'd want to be in an advert like that.

I think it's about getting psyched up before playing sports 'getting in the zone'. -Looking and acting like a tough guy etc.

Yeah, I think I read he feared going bald.

His nickname is Shrek from his supposed ugliness, but I think there are far more ugly people around than him.
He looks normal to me.
Better hair than me too

Rooney's not actually that ugly. When you see him dressed smart he looks normal.

It's just on the pitch he's agressive, always pulling ugly faces and looking angry. Plus he's surrounded by 'pretty boy' footballers.
