I was at work today and my department is going to be hiring 2 new people. The group of 10 that are interviewing for the position were going through an orientation and tour of the building and walked past us. After they passed, one of my female co-workers said "I hope the bald guys don't get hired. This place has too many bald men as it is." The fact is, 3 of the guys were balding but 2 weren't even balding badly at all yet the comment was still made. It just makes you wonder. Has anyone else heard comments like this made?

baldguy28, it's a fact that most gals, albeit there are exceptions, keep their locks with no problem and have beautiful heads of hair. So, obviously to a gal, it's NORMAL to have a head of thick, beautiful hair. But of course to a guy, that is not usually the case if you're past 20 something. So the one's who most likely will point out your thinning head will be gals and not other guys. I think that it has more to due with their point of reference than to their being mean and unreasonable. IMO.

Actually it seems to me that girls can't tell if you are losing your hair until it starts looking really thin.
I'm a NW2 and my girlfriend or her 21 year old friends can't tell that I'm losing my hair but my guy friends can. I didn't even really pay attention to any types of hair loss until mine became more noticeable to me.
If you have recession but your hair still looks decent, chicks dont care. But if you have lost all your density and really start to show, then chicks will notice, and if it doesn't look very good they will comment. They also talk sh*t about whenever a chick has a bad hair day.
Basically, if you are confident, ignore them and kidna treat them like sh*t, the hot ones will go for you. I've tried it a time or two and it actually worked, but thats not me. Nice guys always finish last, not bald guys.

For the most part, girls who make such comments are the young, shallow, mindless clones that watch way too much Mtv and E television. Comments like that only reveal ignorance and immaturity. Ignore such losers.
I'm also a NW2 and have NEVER had a girl tell me I was going bald. Guys tell me it looks like I have a thinning hairline all the time but if I ever even mention it to a girl they either say I'm crazy and I'm not going bald or that they don't care.
Tons of chicks are with balding guys anyway so I don't see what it matters what some random girls say. I would just say "Man I hope they don't hire those slutty looking girls cuz we already have enough w****s working here"

Excellent post man! This is the perfect morning to stumble across this thread because just last night at work an ugly woman with alot of good looking hair had a humorous topic to talk about to her two girl coworkers and I was about 10ft away when this hilarious comment was made. "he (her ex) wears a cap all the f*****g time and he looks cute with it on but he's f*****g ugly with it off because he's bald like ceasar" and so on. Anyway, it almost got to me standing there with my cap on I always wear but I thought of this site and the positive posts I read and it quickly vanished. f*** them all! "comments like that only reveal ignorance and immaturity." The reality of the situation is the majority of the population IS ignorant and immature especially in work places that hire laborers. Laborers naturally running on less than 80 IQ and depending on thier muscles entirely are apt to insult people to make themselves feel better about thier stupid asses.
