I was thinking of trying a system in the future. The question I have is will the glue ruin your real hair? I mean the hair on the sides and the back.

What do you mean by "ruin"?

You don't glue the sides and back of your bio hair, only your scalp (and a small bit of hair that gets shaved for a better blend.

BB’s answer makes sense but this thread leads me to ask: how does the regrowth of your natural hair (assuming there’s still a fair bit) impact the glue / tape - does it effect the grip at all, after say, 2 weeks, when a CM or so has grown through?

Hair grows, on average about 1.25 cm a month, so that's less than .75 a week. My bio hair is pretty sparse, and when it's time to do a removal after even 2 weeks the tape does not come off easily.

I have a client who is young, and Hi bio hair is very thick along the back and sides of where the system is attached, he goes for about a week (very active lifestyle), and it's also hard to take the tape off.

These adhesives really want to stick!
