I've grown up on George Carlin, so I know exactly how and why you feel cynical.
Will it be affordable? Eventually almost certainly yes. But I think the price is going to depend on how much work is involved. Personally, I think the rates for hair transplant docs are ridiculous; it's about 8 hours of work and they can charge you about 10 grand (I'm spitballing of course but those cases do happen).
There was a treatment somewhere for arthritis or something, or something to do with cartilage, I dont remember. In any case, the procedure was VERY similiar to Replicels and the costs for that were 'only' a few grand or less. As per Replicel, I do recall them saying it'd be a very competitive price to a hair transplant.
Personally, I don't think any of these new treatments can cross the $20,000 mark, that's pretty much the highest price for a hair transplant which is HASCI and their claims of regeneration are dubious... although they do an excellent job on the minimal scarring from the donor area. In any case, I think that if you can afford an hair transplant, you shouldn't worry too much.
For stuff like Follica and Histogen, I think the prices will be rather cheap (relatively). For Replicel and Tsuji, I think the costs will be much higher but not out of reach for most of us.
damn i didnt think replicel would be that f*****g expensive
why the fucks its so expensive? they just looking at their competition (hair transplants), and putting it at the same cost?
