Hello, I took 1.25mg finasteride daily about seven years ago and got gyno. finasteride actually worked for me which was a real shame. Do you think that I will get gyno again with a much lower dose? I.e. 0.5 mg daily? Do you think that its worth giving it a shot and just discontinue it if nipples get real sensitive? Has anyone had a similar experience? Could I just take some anti-estrogen pill to counteract this?
Will lower dose of finasteride prevent MAJOR sides?

Up front, my esteemation is that yes, increased doses, although resulting into minor additional dht reduction, do greatly increase the chances for side-effects. In that sense it was your mistake not taking the recommended dose initially.(I am not implying that taking 1mg would surely not result in gyno)
