Hi guys, this question may already be circulating around here, but I could not find something specific enough in the search. I am currently going on 2 weeks without a shave and was wondering if having or growing a beard, as opposed to normal shaving, will weaken the hair on my scalp, i.e., make it more susceptible to DHT or make it more lifeless in general?
My idea behind this is that my facial hair will now be greater in volume, therefore taking more of a toll from my bodily nutrition to maintain it and keep the greater volume of hair alive. This greater need for nutrition will take away from the total available nutrition available for other hair around my body, including body hair, but more specifically, scalp hair, since I am a Norwood 3.5/4. This may be faulty logic, but it is nevertheless an idea. Any thoughts?
