Will Finesteride Work While Using Exogenous Testosterone?

I'm 25 years old been on finesteride for few years

I want to start cycling 500mg of testosterone pw

The equivalent average level of testosterone in natural males is around 70-100mg IIRC

Will taking it accelerate hairloss or will finesteride get me covered? If so, do I need to increase the dose while on or will 1mg ED still be enough?

You won't know unless you try. For me it didn't even work with endogenous testosterone, so yeah, I would hate to even imagine what would happen if I took test or roids...

I personally haven't, but I know a lot of guys recommend adding in extra protection (e.g., RU58841) if you go that route.

Don’t mistake thinking hairloss is down to DHT alone.

Any androgen, in excess, has the capacity to directly cause hairloss. That’s why steroids like tren are brutal on the hairline despite not converting to DHT at all.

Test is highly androgenic and 500mg a week will most definitely overwhelm the finasteride. Plus you’ll be massively increasing chances of gyno although a combo of bromo and letro will sort that issue out at least.

You wont lose hair as you use test alone. But yes it will speed up hair loss . If you are prone you choose steorids gains or hairs

Occasionally I use testosterone 5% drugs. And I use 2% Progesterone for hairloss only.

Testosterone does make my hair fall out, and I take Finasteride as well.

It seems to be able to override any positive gains I make. That's my experience.

At 500mg/wk in most cases you'll end up with total test levels > 4,000. Which is probably 5-10x your normal testosterone levels. Your DHT levels scale pretty linearly to your test levels, so your DHT levels will also rise 5-10x what they were before.

Finasteride drops DHT by about 65-70%. Dutasteride can drop it by over 90%. If you plan to do a test-only cycle, I'd say use dutasteride. RU is a good idea for maximum protection. Especially if you're throwing in stuff like Proviron, LGD or Anavar for the free t boost.
