Latest Research

In August 2012, Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania announced that they had discovered an enzyme which caused baldness. They found that the enzyme Prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) was found to be present on the scalp of balding men at far higher levels than normal, preventing hair follicles from maturing and therefore stopping them from working and growing hair. Dr George Cotsarelis and his dermatological team at the University say that they are in talks with several pharmaceutical companies about developing treatments which could be available in two years.[SUP][25][/SUP][SUP][26][/SUP][SUP][27][/SUP]

That needs to be updated. The Doctor behind the research recently stated that the '2 years' was when they plan clinical trails. The media got their stuff wrong. So it could be 5 to 10 years before it hits the market.

You have a very positive attitude =)

But yeah, it is risky. You should be thankful for them taking the risk instead of you though :)
