Widows Peak - Shave It For A Better Looking Hairline?

I am around a Norwood 2 and even though I'm receeding I am starting to think that because my hairline is so low down at the centre, it makes the rest of my hairline appear even further than it actually is.

Example for those not sure what I mean:

I tested somewhat by pulling my widows peak back tight while leaving the rest of the hairline in place and it makes my hairline look much more straight and less receded. Would it be worth it to try shaping it up and shaving the widows peak? I ask because I'm cautious and would be annoyed with myself if it didn't look right.

Anyone else have the same issue? I get that these forums are pretty dead as of late so I would very much appreciate any responses.

I have a much worse widows peak than that and my barber inexplicably shaved about a half inch off once. It's alright until it starts growing back. The problem shaving is its easy to chop long hairs in the process and it feels strange. lol.

Once you shave it completely how long would you say it takes until you get the slightest bit of stubble there? 12 hours,24 hours, 2 days ect?

Hell no.

That's what black people from the hood do - they call it a 'shape up'.

If you are white you will look like an idiot.

First time I have ever seen a count Dracula hairline.

Are you actually balding, or is this your genetic native hairline prior to balding?

That is not my hair lol, that's actually a picture of a woman's hair that I found on google, but the widows peak is exactly like mine is. I am thinning however I've always had a high hairline with a low widows peak, but as it's receded a bit further it makes the windows peak look worse.

Also I wish I had a Dracula hairline tbh.

I can't even remember what it feels like to have a hairline. I, too, think you're fine, if the situation is as you describe it.

I am thinning no doubt. I still have a pretty decent head of hair as I'm still young, I just think removing the low widows peak may help make things look a bit smoother.

I bet you are not black with afro hair.

I could "bet" you're homosexual, that does not mean you are. Please don't be foolish enough to randomly assume whether or not someone on a forum is black, white or half cast when you have idea.

But tell me - are you black?

Simple question.
