yeah vin looks way better without hair but the picture with hair is actually a wig. he mentions in an interview that he suffers from diffuse thinning and has been shaving his head every since his hair went to crap. makeup is used to even out his head stubble.

if you watch boiler room you can see his hair loss really well a few times. he's got the horse shoe pattern going on.
