Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a woman? Would you like to find out?

If I'm not wrong someone in this forum takes oral spironolactone... and I think he also takes dutasteride...

Some people don't want to get their hair back, I think they want to commite suicide by taking all these shitty drugs..

I would like to see how someone who takes dutasteride will look like in 10 years..

I take oral spironolactone along with Finasteride. Works good for me and I'm still a man

You have one of the fullest heads of hair I have ever seen...

After watching at those pics: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/discussions ... c&start=20

I can't believe you are on those drugs...

No offense but, I seriously think your problem is not in your scalp or in your hair.

Looking at those pictures I can't see any hairloss

Socks! You’ve got more hair then most 13 year olds! My advice, for what ever it’s worth, is to stop the spironolactone! But then again you're the one who has to decide the risk-vs.-benefits thing for yourself, not us. :)

You guys all remember when Jeffsss first posted his pictures and everyone went ape-sh*t!? In those first few pics even -I- thought the guy had a perfectly full head of hair. Then he posted additional pics under sunlight where it was clear he was suffering from diffused hairloss.

That is where my situation -was- headed before treatments. Photos just dont show density that well... I never EVER claimed I had a receding hairline, only that my hair all over was getting thinner thereby providing less coverage.

Anyhow, my hairline still is what it was when I was a young guy... However, my density is not... At the rate it was going I would have had serious thinning now had I not started on Finasteride over 2yrs ago. My addition of spironolactone has halted the last 'advance' of hairloss that remained.

My only point in even posting in this thread is to stop the spread of mis-information. Oral spironolactone is certainly not for most men but it wont change you into a woman. Nuff said :)

Photos makes it look worser.. Always.

So if someone looks like sh*t in a picture, in real life he looks a lot better.

Now, your hair looks full as King Kong hair in photos.

I don't imagine how full it looks in real life, it must be a jungle and you are really lucky. I don't know why are you drinking all that sh*t.

Well, after all, it's your health and you can do what you want. But It looks like your eyes have some kind of filter that makes things look a lot worser.

i don't know about sock, but i agree with him... sometime you just can't tell a person is having hairloss by looking at his photo... sometime, only those close to you can tell that your hair is thinning as they can see the transition...

I believe photos with flash show the hairloss worse than in person.

yes, one might be losing hair compared to what he had when he was 13 years old and the hairloss may not be visible in pictures (when one loses 0.01% of his hairs may be).

The question is it is worth taking the risk altering our hormones for such a degree of hairloss? I realize I started the drugs too late (after NW6), but even if I were to do it again if I get a chance, I won't use hormone altering drugs unless my Norwood is past 1.5 or 2.

It is left to the individuals what they want in life.
