Why is everyone here using Ketoconazole? Why is it part of Big 3?

But isn't its binding affinity @ androgen receptor very weak? (At least topically....)

This is a detailed and unbiast article that should tell you everything you need to know. Intriguingly the author confirms Keto as an effective tool to fight hair loss but doesn't recommend to use it.

My problem with KET shampoo (2%, two times a week) is: it dries out my hair, my hair looks super thin, frizzy and pale...

a cream wouldn't dry out the scalp?
I dont know, Ive never used it. but it would contain different ingrediants than a shampoo would. I imagine a cream would be less drying than "hair soap" since creams are not designed to cleanse debree, oil and sweat the way shampoo is.

More people should try selenium disulphide. Ket actually affects most likely the pge2 synthesis negatively.

ptgds down, pge2 a bit up.

problems: smells; needs to be applied carefully/only in bald spots like temples cause it can colour your hair. it also is just a shampoo, another reason it cant be applied for too long.

Yes am on it for like a bit more than a month now. I am using it not globally anymore as it affected my hair color on 30min. Now I am using it 1-2x a day on temples and hair line.

Yes, it is the same I think. Not sure why the english selsun writes sulfide? Maybe someone knows more.
