Why is there a shed when switching from liquid to foam?

I've looked for similiar posts but have been unable to find any. Can anyone tell me why most people seem to experience a shed when switching from liquid to foam? I mean afterall it is absorbed into the scalp in the same format as the liquid, its just the mode of delivery that differs? I'm wary of switching due to the shed.
Thankyou

That's just it, the foam is a bettery delivery vehicle to the follicles than the liquid. So you may or may not experience a shed. I don't think everybody experiences this shed on the switch.
