It also seems to be a growth stimulant independent of its anti-androgenic properties.
A poster from a while back washed his wrists with nizoral for a while and, to his surprise, found hair growth increased. (You'd expect the opposite of an anti-androgen).

I saw no results with nizoral alone, its just decent anti dandruff shampoo to me.
